Both brick walled rooms and tented rooms in our lodge safaris come with real beds, (with beddings), towels, shower creams or soaps, shampoos, flush toilets, overhead shower, and mosquito nets to keep bugs away. Depending on the category of the accommodation, some rooms have fans (ceiling or standing), air conditioning, hair driers, and even Bathtubs or Jacuzzis, depending on the category and price of the accommodation.
In these Tanzania lodge safaris, you will spend a typical safari day out there in the bush exploring the best parks and wilderness areas of Tanzania in search of wild animals and birds. The safari tours go on until late afternoon (around 06.00 PM, when guests are take back to the lodges and tented lodges / camps for shower, dinner and overnight as well as campfire. Imagination of you seated around a bonfire in the evening, sipping your favorite local beer or any other drink is very real even at the luxury lodges and tented camps.
On returning from an exciting day out of wildlife viewing otherwise known as game drives and immersing yourself in nature, you will arrive at your lodge campwhere you will be met with a warm welcome by the lodge staff who often include the Masai Warriors who will greet you and serve you with a welcome drink then you will settle down in your room or private tent for a soothing shower after a sunny day out in the plains, a shower that helps you relax and prepare for your dinner.
How is it like on a Tanzania Lodge Safari?
On a typical evening at a lodge or tented camp while on a safari in Tanzania, you expect to mingle with other guests before your dinner. This is usually done in the communal areas like the restaurant or bar where you can refresh yourself with a drink.
Your dinner at the lodge or tented camp can be a sumptuous 3-course meal (ala Carte) or a buffet dinner with a nice selection or variable delicacies to choose from; both local and continental. In case you have any allergy to any food or prefer anything, you should notify us well in advance so that we may request special meals for you, or advise the lodges of your special dietary needs.
Our Tanzania lodge safaris are available as private tours whereby we plan and execute a safari tour for you and your travel companion/s. You will share rooms and the safari car with your partner/s depending on whether you are travelling as a couple, or family or even a small group of friends or special groups like students and co-workers.
