Farm of Dreams Lodge is a nice mid range lodge located in the tourist town of Karatu, in the slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater otherwise referred as Ngorongoro Highlands. The lodge lies at an altitude of 1,420 meters (4,660 feet) above the sea level, and generally warm during the peak safari season. However it can be chilly in the evening and early morning during the rain seasons; April & May and months that follow right after the rains in June & July.
Being located in high altitude, the lodge offers stunning views over the nearby hills. Farm of Dreams Lodge has a capacity of 48 spacious, well-appointed rooms all which have private ensuite bathrooms. The rooms’ large en-suite bathrooms include WC, shower and wash basins as well as personal toiletries, except for more personal stuff like toothbrushes. In total, the lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests at any one time.
The warm and cosy rooms overlook the reserve and tropical gardens. The restaurant at Farm of Dreams Lodge serves both a la carte menus as well as set buffets depending on the number of guests that are dining at the restaurant. The chef schedules theme nights throughout the week . Theme nights include among others; barbecue nights and Swahili menus.

The bar is located in the main building close to the main dining area. The décor has an African touch that makes it a wonderful place to pass time and relax.
